About Me

Nancy Carter LCSW
Alexis Morgan (Pen Name)
Arkansas, United States

I spent my first 20 years in the
Pacific Northwest, my next 20
some years in the Dallas/Fort
Worth area with my husband
and children. After I became
widowed, and my children grew
up, I moved to Arkansas, where
I enjoy my private practice as
a Clinical Social Worker.
I recently lost 170 pounds
following Gastric Bypass
surgery. During my recovery
I wrote a book entitled,

FORTRESSES TO BUILD AND TO DESTROY
HOW I RECOVERED FROM FATNESS AND REBUILT MY LIFE.

It is published by AuthorHouse.
The book can be used with
Happiness Now support groups,
which help enable members to
learn to stop dieting, change
their lives for the better, and
learn to live without deprivation,
desperation and pain.
