Mr. Kramer insulted my
choice of clothes, which
made me mad enough
to lose weight.  I
weighed 132 pounds,
my very best weight
considering my large
frame.  I kept this
weight off for about
two years.
I was in my first
year of college,
and had gained
about 7 pounds
from my best level
in high school.
I was 34 and very
pleased with
myself.  I
maintained this
weight for 2 years
before depression
saw me gain a
total of 240
pounds above this
point.
I was slim
for a total of
4 years out
of 60!
I'm not slim now, but about 30 pounds of my
size is loose skin.  I still have trouble walking
and standing straight enough, but I improve
every day, and I will get there!

*The picture on the left shows me when I had almost reached my highest weight.  I couldn't
go anywhere by myself, so I hired a young couple to accompany me on a trip to Oklahoma
    to get some professional training.

    * I tried experimenting with a hair color change.  I could still go places at this weight.  But I
would gain another 50 pounds beyond this point, when I became truly handicapped and
    housebound.

*In the next picture, I was trying to look festive at Christmas.  I would still gain another 40
pounds beyond the size in this picture.

*I stayed at this weight for several years before I had my gastric bypass surgery.
